A little life update. Many have been asking me if I still work at the Vet, simple answer is no. I was asked to sign an NDA, I did not sign, the next working day I was fired. The next question is, who will you use for a vet? Truth is, someone with ethics. Dr. Mark Besancon is no longer our vet for Saving Animal Lives 24/7. Period. I want to formally apologize to everyone who worked for this Vet and was done wrong in the past. I was blinded and I’m sorry I didn’t believe you. I was truly blinded and his biggest cheerleader on the ground, on the internet, in the room he wasn’t in, and he STILL threw me out like garbage. Not only did I “volunteer” and work for free when his clinic first opened because they couldn’t afford to pay me, I drove thousands of miles on my car which then I had to get a new car because the mini van was unreliable. I made SO many sacrifices for this job, and I regret EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. It was a truly toxic work environment. Not only was I fooled into thinking I was working with my best friends, I was pushed out and stabbed in the back when I stood my ethical ground. I don’t wish ill will, because I know the universe will serve its karma when it’s due. After I was fired, they had the audacity to say I could still bring my rescue animals. Knowing that meant “screw you but give me money.” With that being said, yes, I left a tab there for a dog who had her leg repaired MULTIPLE times and then it had to be amputated because the plate broke Every single surgery. Again, I am sorry to everyone as I was blinded. My eyes are open and I can see the snake now. Thank you to people who have stayed by my side during this shit show of a journey. I’m in my Me Era now.
