AFFORDABLE LIVING FOR THE AGING
Dedicated to ending homelessness in Los Angeles by developing housing and programs for the most vulnerable segment of our population: seniors. ALA provides affordable housing and case management for high-acuity populations. Established in 1978, Affordable Living for Aging (ALA) is a BIPOC-led nonprofit currently serving high-acuity individuals in Los Angeles. ALA’s mission is to establish healthcare and housing equity by ensuring equitable access to services for vulnerable populations. ALA provides intensive case management, permanent affordable housing, and access to community resources. We envision a community where all individuals - regardless of age, race, or socioeconomic status - have access to affordable healthcare, housing, and a network of supportive services.
