National Redistricting Foundation
The National Redistricting Foundation seeks to prevent and reverse insidious gerrymandering through legal action across the country. Committed to legal action that undoes gerrymandering. At the National Redistricting Foundation, we believe gerrymandering is antithetical to American democracy. The process of gerrymandering is undermining our democratic institutions and contributing to uncompetitive elections, partisan polarization, and the continued marginalization of racial minorities. When our legislatures abuse their power to advance partisan interests and rig the system to nullify the will of the voters, harnessing the power of the people and the courts are the most important tools to reestablish an equitable system. Our mission is to dismantle unfair electoral maps, create a redistricting system based on democratic values in advance of the redistricting cycle, and ensure we have a fair and transparent process in 2021 and beyond.
