National Society for African American Innovators

As a partner to a collective of Universities and a consortium of Businesses, the National Society for African American Innovators (NSAAI), a Nonprofit 501(c)(3) incorporation, commits to achieving diversified excellence in Innovation. As a partner to a collective of universities and a consortium of businesses, the National Society for African American Innovators (NSAAI) aims to disrupt the Innovation ecosystem by diversifying communities where innovation is researched and applied. While less than 5% of Blacks and African Americans represent professionals in innovation, NSAAI aims to reduce the gap between sufficiently represented demographic populations and the Black and African American population, which is heavily un/underrepresented. By increasing equity and parity among the Black and African American demographic in the field of innovation, in academia and in practice, NSAAI works to achieve equality in innovation through mentorship, scholarship, advocacy, sponsorship, and professional appointment.
