Alexis Hughes from Oconee EMC presented Kid’s Cup with a $10,000 donation from the EMC Operation Round Up Foundation. Operation Round Up is a charitable program where EMC members voluntarily round their monthly electric bill up to the next dollar, and the extra change is used to support local charities, non-profit organizations, and individuals in need within the EMC service area. Organizations must apply and be selected to receive these funds.
