New England Equine Rescues
New England Equine Rescues (NEER) is a constantly growing 501(c)3 organization that networks volunteers and horse people from all over the New England region. NEER is dedicated to helping horses and horse rescues in any way possible, including direct intervention for abused or slaughter-bound equines, effective horse placement, fundraising, and active support of the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act. We need to find good homes, foster homes, volunteers, transport, advice, referrals, and as much support as we can to help stop the abuse, neglect, and slaughter of horses. There is no one facility, no one rescue, but a large group of people ranging from 'an extra stall' to larger 501(c)3 organizations. Please join us.
