Diagnosed with AML leukemia at the age of 4 Avalynn spent three years battling cancer before being called to heaven in October 2019. During this time the Wallaces discovered how difficult it can be for families to know about all the options available to them or which types of support or resources they needespecially when it comes to the medical system and endoflife care. Avalynns Hope Foundation provides ongoing support for families of medically fragile and disabled children who may not have experience navigating the medical system as well as resources for financial assistance fundraising crowdsourcing family services grief support palliative care networking recreation and more.
