THE CHAMBERSBURG COMMUNITY POLICE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO SUPPLEMENT THE ESSENTIAL NEEDS OF THE CHAMBERSBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT THAT ARE NOT MET THROUGH THE BUDGET OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE GENERAL FUND OF THE BOROUGH OF CHAMBERSBURG. THE NEEDS OF THE CHAMBERSBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT MAY INCLUDE NEW EQUIPMENT, ADVANCES IN TECHNOLOGY, OFFICER TRAINING, OFFICER WELLNESS, RECRUITMENT, AND PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING.
