Home - Adventures in Caring Foundation

Adventures in Caring was founded in 1985, and is best known for its award winning Raggedy Ann & Andy Visiting Program for patients in hospitals and nursing homes. Its all-volunteer team is specially trained in how to communicate with people who are critically or chronically ill. All year round, these volunteers bring encouragement, hope, and compassion to patients and their families. By reducing the emotional distress that often accompanies physical illness, they support the healing process. Adventures in Caring also teaches the art of communicating with compassion to volunteer caregivers, students, and health care professionals throughout the United States.
