Now, Monroe County Deputies doing their jobs in County Parks have been unfairly dragged into the conversation. Let’s be clear: our Deputies followed policy, upheld the law, and did nothing wrong. Our policy hasn’t changed in seven years, and we stand with all MCSO Deputies and RPD officers who put their lives on the line to do what’s right.
