Toledo Junior Roller Derby
Founded in April 2013, the Toledo Junior Roller Derby (TJRD) provides a fun and healthy outlet for children ages 5-17 who are interested in learning the skills and rules of roller derby. We harness the ideals of teamwork, athleticism, and friendship through hard work and determination. We value the rich diversity of our city and welcome children of all shapes, sizes, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. TJRD instills a sense of leadership, accomplishment and confidence in our youth which builds character that may last a lifetime. We also give back to our communities through selfless service to others (e.g. volunteering, service projects, etc.). The Toledo Junior Roller Derby has been a member of the Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA) since 2013.
