Position: Patron Services Manager & Administration Associate Reports to: Executive Director Hours: Minimum of 35 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work required. Job Summary: The Patron Services Manager & Administration Associate is an integral part of the Victoria Symphony’s profile in the community. Responsible for handling ticket transactions for all events and performances, maintaining accurate data about patrons, assuring exceptional customer service on behalf of the Symphony, and office duties assigned by the Executive Director Job Duties & Responsibilities: • Ensure the highest quality customer service possible in all customer interactions via in person and telephone. • Handle ticketing transactions for subscriptions, single tickets and special events. • Process seating assignments. Keep records of seat change requests and new season ticket orders. • Maintain database and records of subscribers, single ticket buyers, and donors (all patron records). • Process daily batch prints of tickets. • Process acknowledgments of contributions. • Learn all box office duties and operation tasks. • Work in the box office at all Symphony concerts. • Work at all special events and fundraisers • Maintain all office supplies • Help all departments during non-concert week as assigned by Executive Director • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director • Associate's degree or higher recommended. • Minimum of one-two years’ experience in DonorPerfect preferred. • Facility with cultivating strong interpersonal relationships. • Outstanding oral communication skills. • Excellent decision-making, priority setting and handling of challenges; high energy level and impeccable follow-through. • Exceptional reporting and record-keeping skills; easily manages and tracks multiple projects at different stages; superior attention to detail. • Computer literate; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook); experience in ticketing software Audience View • Team player with the ability to work independently with little supervision • Desire to continuously learn and increase effectiveness as a professional; offer and receive constructive feedback; willingness to be flexible and to go above and beyond. • Experience in the performing arts field a plus • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
