EVEN MORE SO IN UNDERSERVED AND LOW-INCOME COMMUNITIES, ESPECIALLY COMMUNITIES OF COLOR, WHERE MAMMOGRAPHY SCREENING IS LESS ADOPTED THAN IN ANY OTHER POPULATION, AND ACCESS TO ANY TECHNOLOGY ASSISTED EARLY DETECTION IS FREQUENTLY LIMITED.

Nearly 80 of lower income women in the U. S. do not get screening mammography and women of color have the lowest participation rates in traditional breast cancer screening.
