Our commitment is to alleviate the suffering caused by poverty, to work with individuals and families to move out of poverty, and to advocate for economic justice for all Vermonters.

📣📣Join Us in Supporting Our Neighbors. 📣📣 ➡️ Capstone Community Action is looking for volunteers to lend a hand in two important programs: 🥕 Food Shelf in Barre • Our Food Shelf is a lifeline for families across Central Vermont, and visits are on the rise. We’d love your help with: • Sorting and shelving food (light & heavy tasks available) • Picking up food from the VT Foodbank (truck helpful) • Assisting in the kitchen ➡️ We especially need helping hands on Tuesday–Friday mornings and some afternoons.
