To provide a temporary safe place for victims of domestic violence and to help them acquire the tools they need to be a survivor. Through education, advocavy, and working closely with community agencies to help raise awareness and funding for domestiv violence issues, we strive to be a voice in the community to help stop the cycle of violence.

In 1998 after the death of a local schoolteacher several leaders in our community came to the realization that there was nowhere for domestic violence victims to turn to in Kernersville. They recognized that there were people in our own area who didnt have a safe place to rest their heads.
