Drag Story Hour-Arizona's mission is to bring inclusive story times to the children of Arizona and their grown-ups. Drag Storytellers inspire children to be themselves through books, songs, and artistic expression. Drag Story Hour captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where everyone can be their authentic selves!

What was initially planned as a single story hour in 2019 grew to be an organization that aims to support diversity and inclusivity in early literacy. Drag Story Hour Arizona has had the opportunity to collaborate with fantastic organizations such as AzTYPO and Virtual Arizona Pride and has sparked joy to readers of all types. We look forward to each journey that we meet.
