The Center was founded in 2000 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to 'look over the horizon' and identify problems and opportunities which lie ahead for the eight county Houston region. The overarching benefit to the community is that of an independent and respected source of Leadership, Research and Solutions.
