The organization emphasizes love, respect, and integrity in all its endeavors, focusing on serving ethnically and linguistically diverse communities, primarily on Long Island.
Background and History
CRR traces its roots back to Zion Cathedral Church of God in Christ in Freeport, New York. - Addiction Treatment: CRR offers substance abuse treatment services, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Impact
By addressing health disparities and providing accessible care, CRR aims to make treatment affordable for all, using sliding scale payments based on client income and family size. The organization also supports the involvement of family members in recovery processes, recognizing the importance of familial dynamics in addiction and mental health issues.
