Statement in Support of Logan Rozos On Wednesday, May 14, Documentary Lab alum Logan Rozos gave an invited commencement speech at his graduation from New York University’s Gallatin School. In the speech, Logan used the platform to ask those in attendance to recognize the atrocities currently happening in Palestine. In retaliation for exercising his right to free speech, NYU is withholding his diploma and wielding its institutional power in an attempt to silence others who might express solidarity with Palestinians. We stand with Logan and call for his diploma to be issued immediately. At Firelight Media, our mission is to advance the art of nonfiction storytelling to realize a more just and beautiful world.
