About Us Launched in Spring 2022 The Barking Project was established to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in Texas shelters due to overcrowding. Inspired to make a difference friends with a shared passion for animal rescue created a largescale adoption event uniting rescues from all over Texas and raising awareness. We partner with animal rescues who are saving shelter dogs from euthanasia and finding them loving homes.
