The Friends of Project Literacy supports the work of Project Literacy, which offers free literacy education to adult students. The mission of the Friends of Project Literacy is to provide financial and advisory support for Project Literacy. The mission of Project Literacy is to help adult learners to improve their ability to read, write, and converse in English so that they may better help their families, attain better jobs, gain access to community resources and become more integrated into their communities.
