We had our annual visit with the amazing families from Mothers of Hope and Charlie’s Place. Despite the dreary weather, everyone stayed nice and toasty after a lunch of sloppy joes and brownies (all vegan, of course), and then they got to learn all about our residents, watching a video of our sheep being sheared, making snacks for the birds, and of course visiting with all our animals! Hopefully Poppy has found her people! It’s amazing to think that she’s no longer our tiniest goat here, now that we have petite Charlotte. And can we talk about how big baby Pongo has grown?! It’s very sweet to see how gentle Poppyseed plays with him, and mama Cinnamon is always close by to make sure things don’t get too rough. (fb)
