We are a small non-profit 501(c)(3) farm sanctuary located in Southwestern Michigan dedicated to saving animals and working to encourage kindness and respect for all creatures. To protect animals, primarily domestic pets, farmed animals, and equines from neglect, abuse, or other cruelty, and to inspire change in the way society views and treats these animals, by: 1) providing long-term and short-terms residence and care, including obtaining medical/veterinary treatment, 2) aiding in finding responsible homes for adoptable animals, 3) providing transportation and assistance to re-home neglected, abandoned, or abused animals, and 4) providing educational opportunities concerting the humane treatment of animals.

Chubby Goat Acres What We Are Chubby Goat Acres is a nonprofit farm sanctuary in Southwestern Michigan. Our purpose is to protect domestic and farmed animals from neglect abuse or other cruelty and to inspire change in the way society views and treats these animals. While we do have permanent residents we also aid in finding responsible homes for adoptable animals and provide transportation and assistance to rehome neglected abandoned or at risk animals. We believe that every animal deserves to have a life free of pain fear and suffering.

Chubby Goat Acres
We had our annual visit with the amazing families from Mothers of Hope and Charlie’s Place. Despite the dreary weather, everyone stayed nice and toasty after a lunch of sloppy joes and brownies (all vegan, of course), and then they got to learn all about our residents, watching a video of our sheep being sheared, making snacks for the birds, and of course visiting with all our animals. Thanks for visiting, and we can’t wait for next year.
