The Yemeni American Merchants Association (YAMA) seeks to educate and elevate Yemeni-American merchants and their families through education, civil rights advocacy, business, and social service support.

في العاصمة واشنطن يشارك كل من القياديين في جمعية التجار (ياما) الأستاذ عمرو أبوزيد والأستاذة ذكرى الرميم الى جانب المتحديثن الأخرين، في فعاليات اليوم الثالث لمؤتمر مناصرة اليمن الذي ينظمه مركز واشنطن للدراسات اليمنية. خلال مشاركتهم، سيتحدثان عن تجربتهم في العمل القيادي المجتمعي، وكيف استطاعا من خلال جهودهم أن يحوّلوا التحديات اليومية إلى فرص لبناء جسور من التعاون والدعم بين أبناء الجالية. هذا الحضور يعكس أهمية الصوت اليمني في المنابر الدولية، ويؤكد أن العمل المجتمعي ليس مجرد خدمة تطوعية، بل هو قوة حقيقية قادرة على إحداث تغيير ملموس، سواء داخل الولايات المتحدة أو في دعم القضايا العادلة لليمنيين حول العالم.
