This past Saturday, the 8th Annual Joggin’ 4 the Noggin 5K Run/Walk brought together the Pennsylvania #braintumor community to support the NBTS mission. Steph James created this event 8 years ago in loving memory of her father, who passed away from GBM at the age of 59, and in memory of her 6-year-old nephew, who was diagnosed with DIPG only one and a half years later. Through Steph’s grief, she has turned her passion into progress and has collectively raised nearly $74,000 for the NBTS mission so far. Through hosting this annual event, Steph has not only made a significant impact on our mission, she has gathered members of the brain tumor community to create meaningful connections and drive breakthroughs ahead.
