Monkeyshines is Long Island’s Premier Zine, and we want to publish your work! Send submissions to Were a New York State not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, dedicated to publishing and supporting Long Island artists and writers. We publish and mail a free zine, Bindle, 4 times a year, where we showcase creative content from creators from Nassau and Suffolk counties, and beyond.

Monkeyshines Hello Bindle. Were excited to announce the new name of our zine Bindle. A bindle is a collection of personal items carried by a traveler lets say a hobo in a tied off cloth bag. We thought this would fit with our zine which is a collection of personal artistic creations that can be carried by you our readers.
