STATEMENT REGARDING THE COLORADO JUDICIAL DEPARTMENT ALLEGATIONS The Workers Compensation Education Association is troubled and dismayed by the allegations of sexual misconduct and sexual discrimination in the Colorado Judicial Department and the possible coverup of such allegations. The judicial branch is tasked with ensuring that all persons entities and institutions are accountable to the law and the Colorado Judicial Department should be a model for just that. We urge the Colorado Judicial Department to allow for and support a prompt independent and transparent investigation into these serious allegations of sexual misconduct and sexual harassment in the workplace and take all necessary steps to protect and support any victims so that the judicial system in Colorado can continue to be a model for accountability and justice.
