Period poverty—lack of access to menstrual products, education, and sanitation—keeps countless girls out of school, limiting their life opportunities. By giving reusable kits and vital menstrual health education, we empower girls to stay in school, graduate and take control of their futures.

Home Celestial Hands Celestial Hands Welcome to Celestial Hands In many parts of Africa young girls face significant challenges when they begin menstruating. Without access to proper hygiene products these girls are often forced to miss school falling behind in their studies and in some cases dropping out entirely. The stigma and cultural taboos surrounding menstruation further compound the problem isolating these girls during a crucial time in their lives. This issue is often referred to as Period Poverty.
