This week at Judi’s House, we paused our usual routines for a powerful and meaningful Staff Development Day. As part of our commitment to implementing Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles across our organization, our team engaged in trainings focused on several topics, including building resilience and understanding implicit bias. We ended the day with a screening of Finding Jamia’s Spirit, a moving short film that sparked deep reflection and conversation about community, loss, and healing.
