We are a community Indonesian Gamelan ensemble based in Richmond, Virginia. Participation is free and open to the public. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and we regularly work with and study under master artists from Indonesia. THE ORGANIZATION IS AN INDONESIA MUSIC GROUP THAT PROVIDES PERFORMANCES OF INDONESIAN MUSIC AND EDUCATION OF INDONESIAN ARTS & CULTURE IN THE RICHMOND, VIRGINIA COMMUNITY

Kid friendly audience will be invited to hit the instruments Balinese Shadow Theater Featuring Gusti Sudarta Enjoy a rare performance of traditional Indonesian shadow theater with shadow master Gusti Sudarta faculty at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts in Bali. Live accompaniment by members of Gamelan Accepting new members. Gamelan Raga Kusuma is an open communitybased ensemble affiliated with theUniversity of Richmondin Richmond Virginia.
