THE OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF MAITI NEPAL IN THE U.S. WHOSE MISSION IS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE SEX TRAFFICKING OF GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN IN NEPAL AND INDIA, AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE HUMANITARIAN WORK OF MAITI NEPAL. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SCREENS, EVALUATES, AND FUNNELS ASSISTANCE TO MAITI NEPAL FROM UNIVERSITIES, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, TECHNOLOGY, HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS, AND OTHERS AS APPROPRIATE. FRIENDS OF MAITI NEPAL RAISES FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF MAITI NEPAL, AND TO SERVE AS A SAFE CONDUIT FOR TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS FROM US TAXPAYERS TO MAITI NEPAL.
