Pro Bono Project

The Pro Bono Project

The Pro Bono Project’s continuing mission is to provide free, quality civil legal services to the underserved members of our metro community. The Pro Bono Project opens the door to civil legal services for the working poor, low-income families, the homeless and elderly clients by connecting them to private attorneys who provide services pro bono. The Pro Bono Project provides civil legal services to the poor and indigent in a six-parish area by engaging volunteer attorneys of the private bar to provide their services pro bono in an effort to improve the quality of life for clients and the community in general.    The Project serves a six-parish area surrounding the city of New Orleans  with funding generated from its annual Justice For All Ball and contributions from private, public and corporate sources.  The Project works in collaboration with other legal and social service providers to improve the quality of life for its clients and its community.
