Mission: effective programs for individuals, families, and communities dealing with contentious people and complex issues As a start-up, Mitigation Institute is a [proposed] non-campus university of scholars, practitioners, and subject matter experts dedicated to studying violence in society: its causes, manifestations, and mitigation.   Our research and analysis clearly explain conditions, issues, and events of violence. In today’s climate of widespread misinformation, the Institute empowers the public to verify the facts.  We remove the clutter so they may analyze, comment, and act on the issues.
