Lakota Kidz
We rally donors to make the brutal winters warmer for Lakota Sioux families on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Lakota Kidz is an all-volunteer charity. For our complete history, please see Files on our Facebook page. We have 2 main programs: heat (fuel, wood stoves, heaters) and school supplies/holiday gifts for children. Our greatest need is money for winter fuel. We also encourage donors to access our Wish Lists on Amazon.com and send requested items directly to the head of the Donations Committee at Crazy Horse School, Wanblee, SD, which is one of the poorest towns in the USA. We also supply Oyate Teca Youth Project, an after-school program that covers 4 towns.
