Arizona Adopt A Greyhound (AAGI) serves the state of Arizona finding forever, loving homes for retired racing Greyhounds. These are dogs that have ended their racing career and in the past would have been euthanized. AAGI bridges the gap between race track and home. We were established in 1990 and have found homes for over 5000 dogs in our 20+ year history. We presently place about 200 dogs per year and all of our "available" dogs spend time in a foster home prior to placement. We spay or neuter each pet, completely vaccinate, provide a teeth cleaning, microchip, collar, leash and ID tag. We also require both a screening and Orientation about the breed from our potential adopters.
