Greene Care Clinic Quality Care for our Community Our mission is to provide free healthcare to residents of Greene County who are uninsured and whose income is below 300 of the Federal Poverty Level. Learn More Our Services We provide quality healthcare for our patients to ensure a positive health outcome and patient satisfaction. Services include Treatment of acute health conditions Comprehensive chronic illness care Clinical and diagnostic testing Pharmacy services nonnarcotic prescriptions Health education and lifestyle change support including smoking cessation counseling Care coordination and referrals as appropriate to University of Virginia and Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospitals I was very pleased with the care I received. Greene Care Clinic Patient Our Team The Clinic has recruited highly experienced and skilled local physicians and nurse practitioners who are licensed in Virginia to provide healthcare to our patients.

We talked about all sorts of stuff this evening in BETTER TOGETHER - A Chronic Disease Management Support Group for Greene Co. - we talked about the importance of our kidneys, how diet can influence kidney health, the need to drink enough water every day (and especially on days like today. ), we touched on the role of the pancreas and how everything is connected to managing diabetes.

Just a reminder that the Greene County Office of Emergency Services are hosting a Cooling Center this week - please take advantage of this place to cool off. Here are the details they posted: Due to the hot and humid forecast this week, a Cooling Center will be open at the following location beginning Monday, June 23, 2025, from 8AM to 8PM each day this week: Greene County EMS Building 9825 Spotswood Trail Stanardsville, VA 22973 Time: 8:00AM to 8:00PM Water and light snacks will be available / bring any food and/or medications that you may need. 🚗Please park in front of the old rescue squad building.
