Sarah Jimenez from the Rogers-Thompson Rotary Scholarship House in Gainesville is an #SSFStar because in Fall 2024, as Lead Database Director for UF’s chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), she led the development and reformatting of the SHPE’s Corporate Database--a key resource containing comprehensive information on over 200 companies participating in the yearly National SHPE Convention in Anaheim, California. The database has gained national recognition across SHPE chapters for its value and accessibility, with Sarah’s contributions officially acknowledged and credited for supporting the broader SHPE community. Recently, Sarah was selected as the House Manager of the Rogers-Thompson Rotary Scholarship House for the Spring 2026 semester, a testament to her continued dedication to leadership and service.
