We utilize the mentormentee relationship to serve as a buffer to negative outcomes. The strategy at Reaching for the Stars is to expose students to opportunities that will encourage their dreams beyond their environment and equip them with the tools necessary for transition into adulthood. MISSION Our mission is to improve academic achievement selfesteem social competence avoidance of problemhighrisk behavior and create health and fitness awareness by providing a relationship with a caring life skills coach who works to help youth achieve their potential.
