League of Guardians was established to serve as the Guardian for Incapacitated Adults who reside in Long Term Care Facilities. The Incapacitated Adult is an individual who is not capable of receiving and evaluating information effectively or responding to people, events, or environments to such an extent that the individual lacks the capacity to meet the essential requirements for his health, care, safety, or therapeutic needs. These individuals may be of advanced age, disabled, blind or another disease. The League of Guardians assist with patient advocacy and case management.
