Orleans Citizens Forum Welcome to the Orleans Citizens Forum A message from our president Maxine Minkoff Dear Friends The mission of the Orleans Citizens Forum a nonpartisan nonprofit organization is to improve the quality of life on the Lower Cape by promoting an understanding of topical issues through informative civil and intelligent conversations. To this end we host interactive forums with knowledgeable speakers and provide opportunities for you to ask questions and raise concerns. In the past we have held forums regarding various challenges facing Orleans future climate change housing shortages the Blue Economy Orleans schools economic uncertainties shifting demographics capital infrastructure projects the impact of current economic trends on the Town and previews of key warrant articles that will be voted on at town meetings. Our first forum this year addressed key articles that would be voted on during the October 28 Town Meeting.
