Polestar is a spiritual community that offers year-round, hands-on experience in cooperative living. We have moved to Fort Collins, CO and are starting Polestar Village, an Intentional Neighborhood centered around a farm. Polestar creates dynamic opportunities for life-long learning and spiritual growth based on the universal teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda.

Polestar Gardens Inc is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit organization in the United States.

History

Polestar Gardens Inc was incorporated in the state of California in 2000. In 2005, the organization relocated its operations to the Big Island of Hawaii, where it maintained an intentional community and organic farm for nearly 15 years. The eruption of the Kilauea Volcano in 2018 prompted the organization to relocate again, this time to Fort Collins, Colorado. As of 2025, Polestar Gardens Inc is developing a 144-unit intentional neighborhood in Fort Collins.

The mission of Polestar Gardens Inc is to create dynamic opportunities for lifelong learning and spiritual growth, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and other universal spiritual paths. Spirit Community LifeLong Learning Dear Friends Polestar Gardens Inc is a 501c3 educational nonprofit that was incorporated in the state of California in 2000. In 2005 we transferred our operations to the Big Island of Hawaii. From 2005 to 2019 on our 20 acre campus in Hawaii we had an intentional community and organic farm offering year round handson experience in cooperative spiritual living. With the eruption of the Kilauea Volcano in 2018 that devastated our Big Island campus we have moved our operations to Fort Collins CO where we are developing a 144 unit intentional neighborhood on 20 acres.
