History

Polestar Gardens Inc was incorporated in the state of California in 2000. In 2005, the organization relocated its operations to the Big Island of Hawaii, where it maintained an intentional community and organic farm for nearly 15 years. The eruption of the Kilauea Volcano in 2018 prompted the organization to relocate again, this time to Fort Collins, Colorado. As of 2025, Polestar Gardens Inc is developing a 144-unit intentional neighborhood in Fort Collins.

The mission of Polestar Gardens Inc is to create dynamic opportunities for lifelong learning and spiritual growth, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and other universal spiritual paths. The organization's vision is to establish a campus akin to a "School of Life," where community members can engage in continuous physical, mental, and spiritual development. This community celebrates compassion, service, humility, and divine friendship, fostering a supportive environment for its members.
