The specific purposes of the Corporation are to assist people living in poverty. Provide emergency food and other basic needs for the homeless and low- income families. Provide assistance for families transitioning from a State/City that is not meeting needs to survive or provide fair and equal opportunities or due to an abusive relationship. Helping families move to a State/City where there are more jobs and resources to live a better life. To help mitigate Eviction notices keeping families in their homes, provide energy assistance such as working with Utilities Companies with Disconnection Notices providing low-income families with a source for improving stable living conditions. Assist by providing clothing and food for low-income families.
