Global Education Support

Follow Message Edit

Provide disadvantaged students with needed resources to overcome obstacles in their desire to achieve an education. As such our primary goal is to raise funds to support motivated and qualified students to further their education. Working with local educational institutions, parents and local nonprofit charities, we support and follow each student’s progress throughout the school year.

Global Education Support

Global Education Support is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization focused on providing educational resources to disadvantaged students. Its mission is to overcome obstacles in accessing education and to foster development in economically vulnerable communities through educational achievements.

Mission

The primary goal of Global Education Support is to assist motivated and qualified students in pursuing their education by raising funds and working collaboratively with local educational institutions, parents, and charities. The organization aims to break the cycle of poverty by promoting educational achievement and developing economically viable communities.

Vision

Global Education Support envisions a future where students are empowered to reach their full potential and become productive members of their communities. It seeks to strengthen cultural and educational values within these communities.

Objectives
  • Student Support: Identify factors hindering students' success and provide necessary educational resources.
  • Parent and Community Education: Educate parents and communities about the importance of education.
  • Community Development: Foster self-sufficient communities through educational achievements.
Projects

One of the organization's key projects focuses on the Guanacaste Region of Costa Rica, where poverty levels are high and retention in secondary education is challenging. Global Education Support works with local charities and families in this region to identify and support students in need. The goal is to increase the number of students sponsored for high school education, thereby enhancing educational access and opportunities.

Financial Structure

Global Education Support is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service. This designation allows donations to be tax-deductible to the extent permissible under U.S. law. All donations directly fund student programs, with administrative costs covered separately.
