The mission of A Night in Old Bethlehem invites the community to discover the birth of Christ as they explore the town of Bethlehem at the Sights and Sounds of Christmas celebration in San Marcos, Texas each holiday season. The town features a live nativity with the Holy Family, angels, shepherds, wise men, and animals, complete with a camel and donkeys. This inspiring scene illustrates the birth of Jesus in a family friendly environment in a way that words can never do. Bethlehem hosts FREE craft activities for kids as they make a toy, a dip candle, and a pinch pot at the various shops. Our guests enjoy live musical performances on our music stage that highlights the Christmas story in music, dance, and skits. Turkey legs and curly fries are available for sale in the food court.
