Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival is a chamber music nonprofit organization founded in 1998 by violist-violinist and OICMF Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann. In 2022, OICMF celebrated its 25th anniversary, thanks to the tireless work of Aloysia Friedmann, Artistic Advisor Jon Kimura Parker, the OICMF Board, staff, and volunteers. OICMF’s mission is to provide “the highest standards of musical excellence, brought to life through visionary, creative, inclusive, and innovative programming, and through Festival-related events during the year.” We also aim to share “stimulating insights and experiences with all amidst the natural beauty of Orcas Island, creating Classical Music with a View.”
