Michigan Eyes on the Forest Priority Plant Patrol Lunch and Learn Webinar Tuesday, June 17th 12:00PM Eastern Time The key to effectively controlling invasive plants is to detect them early. The Priority Plant Patrol (PPP) provides a platform for concerned citizens to learn more about priority plants in Michigan, and to digitally record hikes or walks while on the lookout for these priority plants. Ideally, most walks will find nothing! While this may seem like an exercise in futility, negative detections actually help CISMAs and other landscape managers know which areas have been searched and are free of these priority plants. This knowledge allows professionals to focus on areas not yet visited in search of priority plants.
