Village Resource Center Program (VRCP) set its sights high on improving the lives of the citizens in the area we serve. As a community outreach organization, our goals are to meet the following needs of the people through FREE Educational Tutoring, Juvenile Court Referrals, Life & Parenting Training, Drug Counseling Referrals, Job Training, Senior Advocacy, and Transportation services. To ensure the success of this venture, we are partnering with existing public and private sector groups to enhance our outreach and maximize our impact. Some of the groups we are working with are as follows: Louisiana Office of Public Health, Louisiana Department of Children & Family Services, Louisiana Workforce Centers, Napoleonville Mayor's Office, Assumption Parish Police Jury, and the Assumption Parish Council on Aging; just to mention a few. In 2014, we have expanded our community outreach to include Western Michigan, to take advantage of our presence in the Muskegon County area.
