PADDLESPORTS NORTH AMERICA INC

Paddlesports North America serves the public who enjoy paddling canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards throughout North America. Our goal is to make training and educational programs accessible to all in order to promote paddler development, emphasizing safety and stewardship of the environment. The organization serves to expand knowledge and awareness of all paddlesport related activities, and encourages lifetime participation in the sport through delivery of a long term paddler development program. Paddlesports North America provides classroom education and on-water training through a series of paddlesport modules developed by British Canoeing. The British Canoeing program is recognized throughout the world as the gold standard in paddlesport training. Paddlesports North America coaches deliver training and assess paddler proficiency, which lead to personal achievement awards. The organization also develops, encourages, trains and supports coaches to deliver the program, and maintains all records of achievement. The program is continually being refined around the needs of paddlers, and provides a balanced progression of support as they move through the sport. Paddlesports North America encourages people of all ages and abilities to go paddling, stressing personal safety and respect for the environment.
