Belong is a neighborhood grab-n-go kitchen that employs adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The mission of BELONG is to create dignified, meaningful, paid employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a nurturing environment where all BELONG. BELONG will implement its mission to provide dignified, meaningful, paid employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through the operation of a bakery and pantry in the Memorial neighborhood of Houston, Texas. BELONG will employ adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to prepare baked goods and carry-out meals for busy families. BELONG will provide education and training to allow its differently abled employees to obtain state required certifications for food safety and food handling. March 2025 Arturo Boada Belong employees enjoyed a field trip to Arturos kitchen and learned how to make Chicken Provenzale. Our employees were treated to a private dining experience and enjoyed tasting delicious pasta dishes prepared by Arturo along with delicious rolls and creme brlee spoons for dessert. Be sure to grab Arturos Chicken Provenzale from Belong every Wednesday during March and stop by his neighborhood restaurant on Del Monte for an unforgettable experience This Weeks Lunch Items Come grab a HOT lunch this week at BELONG.
