The mission of the Homer Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of the greater Homer area by promoting philanthropic and charitable activities. They do this by attracting gifts and bequests from donors to create permanent endowments, prudent management of the funds, and distributing the income through a year-round grants program in accordance with charitable purposes.

HOMER FOUNDATION
The Kachemak Nordic Ski Club (KNSC) is a volunteer run ski club located in Homer. KNSC began operations in 1986 and has since built, improved, and maintained winter and summer trails in the greater Homer area. KNSC is responsible for over 90 kilometers of winter trails in four separate areas.
