Path of Hope was formed in 1996 by Colleen Peruo, Ph.D., of A.C.T.Training and Psychological Services) in Clifton and a grass roots community group of concerned friends. In 1997, through it's efforts 21 children were helped. Path of Hope has been working to provide a joyful Holiday celebration and gifts for children of limited means by bestowing gifts selected from the children's own wish lists. Through a series of fundraisers held during the course of the year, Path of Hope accrues funds to accomplish this goal while keeping operating costs to a minimum.Expansion from the initial twelve children (12) to a current forty-four (44) highlighted needs that Path of Hope seeks to address through Phase II of this project.
